Terms of Service

Last updated: March 26, 2026. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and IntelBase.

1. Introduction

Welcome to IntelBase. By accessing or using our website, applications, or API (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that your use complies with all laws that apply to you. The Service is not intended for and may not be used by anyone under 18.

3. Account registration

To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Privacy

We collect information as described in our Privacy Policy, including account data (such as email and authentication data) and usage information (such as lookup activity). Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Nature of the Service; no professional advice

IntelBase aggregates and presents information from public and third-party sources for informational purposes only. Results may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. The Service does not constitute legal, investigative, security, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use any information obtained through the Service.

6. Data collection, storage, and search results

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that IntelBase may collect, process, and store data generated through your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Account information: email address, hashed password, company name, Google account identifier (if you sign in via Google), API key, and IP address whitelists you configure
  • Search and lookup data: the queries you submit (such as email addresses), the full results returned by the Service (including linked accounts, data-breach information, and related metadata), and the date and time of each lookup
  • Usage and rate-limit data: daily lookup counts, request timestamps, and rate-limit records used to enforce plan limits
  • Network information: your IP address at registration and at each login, and the IP address associated with each request to the Service
  • Billing information: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, invoice records (payment method, status, price, coupon codes, and invoice download URLs)
  • Communications: messages you submit through our contact or enterprise inquiry forms

This data may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and secure the Service, to comply with legal obligations, to enforce these Terms, and to resolve disputes. You grant IntelBase a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process this data for the purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge and agree that lookup results generated through the Service may be stored by IntelBase separately from your account and search history, in a de-identified form that is not linked to you as a user. These de-identified results may be retained indefinitely, even after deletion of your account or search history, and may be used to operate, improve, and develop the Service.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. When you delete your account, your personal account information (such as email, password, and IP addresses) and your user-linked search history will be removed. De-identified lookup results, as described above, will not be deleted.

7. Data security

IntelBase takes the security of your data seriously. We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, including but not limited to:

  • VPN-protected infrastructure ensuring that internal systems and data transit are shielded from public network exposure
  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
  • Passwords hashed using Argon2 (never stored in plaintext)
  • Firewall and network-level access restrictions

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk when using the Service.

8. FCRA disclaimer

IntelBase is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"), 15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq. Information provided through IntelBase does not constitute a "consumer report" as defined under the FCRA.

You must not use IntelBase or any information obtained through it to:

  • Make decisions regarding consumer credit, insurance, employment, tenant screening, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA
  • Determine an individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other benefit
  • Evaluate an individual for debt collection purposes
  • Assess risk for any consumer-initiated business transaction

By using the Service, you certify that you will not use it or its data for any purpose covered by the FCRA or any analogous state or local law. Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access and may subject you to other remedies available to IntelBase under these Terms or applicable law.

9. Subscription plans, fees, and billing

IntelBase may offer free and paid plans. Features and pricing are as described on our website. Paid plans may renew automatically for successive periods unless you cancel in accordance with the cancellation method we provide (for example, through your account, billing portal, or account management tools). You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your payment method for all applicable fees, taxes, and renewals.

You are responsible for providing current billing information and for any fees charged by your bank or card issuer. If a payment fails, we may suspend or terminate paid features until payment succeeds.

Unless we state otherwise on our website or agree in writing, fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law. Statutory withdrawal or refund rights may apply depending on your location.

10. Payments and third-party processors (including Stripe)

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates). Your use of payment features is subject to their terms and policies, including the processor's terms of service and privacy policy, in addition to these Terms. IntelBase is not responsible for the payment processor's systems or practices beyond what applicable law requires.

You agree not to misuse the payment system, including by initiating illegitimate chargebacks or disputes to avoid valid charges. We may dispute chargebacks and may suspend or close accounts associated with payment abuse or fraud.

11. User conduct

You agree that you will not, and will not assist others to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Use the Service to stalk, harass, threaten, discriminate against, or harm any person, or to violate anyone's privacy or publicity rights
  • Access or attempt to access data or systems without authorization, or circumvent technical or usage limits
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its outputs in bulk in breach of these Terms or our technical policies
  • Use the Service to look up, investigate, monitor, or collect information about any individual known or believed to be under the age of 18
  • Use the Service in any manner that could expose IntelBase to liability or that violates third-party rights

We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement or regulators as permitted by law.

12. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, branding, and content we create, is owned by IntelBase or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your own lawful purposes. No other rights are granted by implication.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INTELBASE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL INTELBASE OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INTELBASE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO INTELBASE FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50) IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID FEES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

15. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IntelBase and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

16. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, creates risk for IntelBase or others, or for operational or legal reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations accrued before termination, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing provisions) will survive.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice by email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

18. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. You agree that any claim must be brought individually and not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.

19. General; severability

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms we present at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and IntelBase regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
